- Are you or your family members allergic to dogs? If so, how severely?
- Will any children in the house be able to properly handle a puppy? Have they been around dogs before?
- Are you physically able to care for a 35 lb dog?
- Will your other dogs treat your new puppy well?
- Is your yard fenced?
- If not, how will you care for your dog in the yard?
- A puppy needs to potty more often when they are young. Are you able to provide that care?
- Is anyone home during the day?
- If not, how do you plan to care for the puppy during the day?
- Have you ever housebroken a puppy?
- Do you agree to sign a legally binding spay/neuter contract?
